Call for participants to a workshop on: “University Technology Transfer and Knowledge Exchange: Strategic Directions for Sustainable Economic Growth” Under the British Council and Thailand Research Fund Researcher Links scheme, we will be holding a workshop on “University Technology Transfer and Knowledge Exchange: Strategic Directions for Sustainable Economic Growth“ in Bangkok, Thailand on April 30 - May 2nd 2014.

The workshop provides the space to researchers to explore and understand the ways and means by which stakeholders and organisations involved in university technology transfer and knowledge exchange processes can work together in harmony aiming at fostering sustainable economic development. The workshop is being coordinated by Dr. Stavros Sindakis (Bangkok University, Thailand) and Dr. Kristel Miller (Queen’s University Belfast, UK), and will have contributions from other UK (Dr. Maura McAdam, Belfast; Dr. Sandra Moffett, Ulster) and Thailand researchers (Prof. Vincent Ribiere, BU).

We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK or Thailand to apply to attend this workshop (defined as those who have completed their PhD within the last 10 years or have equivalent research experience). All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme.
